George Bruce Ingram was born July 9, 1948 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and spent the first few years of his life in the Sunnyside district of Calgary. His mother and father bought a house in the newly developed district of Knob Hill. When Bruce was old enough to attend school he spent six years at Richmond Road Elementary.
After graduation from elementary school, Bruce moved across the road to Viscount Bennet, where he spent both his junior and senior high school years. During his youth Bruce joined the 18th Army, Navy and Air Force Veterans Scout troop which went on to be the first kilted troop in Calgary. The tartan chosen just happen to be the Hunting Stewart which Bruce still wears proudly at Specialty Dog Shows while showing his Scottish Deerhounds on the end of the lead. After graduation from High School in 1966 Bruce attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. After one year at S.A.I.T. Bruce decided there was more to Chemical Engineering than pouring chemicals from one beaker to another. Bruce worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway as a lab technician at the Alyth Yards in Calgary for a number of years.
During these years Bruce also attended both night classes and full time day classes at S.A.I.T. In 1974 Bruce re-enrolled in a full time education in Chemical Engineering Technology. During his on again, off again education Bruce had met a young lady, also attending S.A.I.T. By mid fall 1973 Bruce had fallen in love with this bonnie lass.
After graduating with Chemical Engineering Technology George Bruce Ingram wed Patricia Margaret Murray of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada on August 9, 1975 in Lethbridge, Alberta. In December 1975 Bruce finally went to work for TransCanada PipeLines, Calgary, Alberta Canada.
After purchasing their first home in Cederbrae, Calgary in June of 1977, Pat and Bruce became interested in purebred dogs. They purchased first Borzoi, later to become Ch Weerob's Anton, CD. Going from one to two to twelve large dogs in the city lead to the purchase an acreage in Dalroy, Alberta. During their time on the acreage both Pat and Bruce became involved in the community with both serving multiple terms in various executive positions.
In June of 1997 Bruce returned to the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, for Certificate Program in Computer System Specialist. Upon graduation Bruce worked for the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology's Energy and Natural Resources Department. In September of 2000 Bruce went to work for the Rockyview School Division as in-house Computer Technician at Chestermere High School.
