From The Paddock

Well here it is the first week of  July 2013 and well into Stampede. Our May Field Trial has come and gone without a glitch. Good thing we had already decided to run down at the Country Club Pet Resort. Only problem we had was trying to find enough ammunition to shoot down the skeeters after the wet spring. A month later the Rocky Mountain Whippet Association was to hold their trial at Ingram's. They had to move it to Indus due to the fact you couldn't rent enough boats to get to the field.

Next thing we know it's coming fast on our July Trail and the Ingram's field is still under water due to the monsoons. Off down to Indus and skeeters again. Thanks for everything Donny. Just a side note: Stupid Ingram got home from the July weekend, thought "I'll just go out to the field and dump the black tank on the rig. The road out to the middle looks good!". Critical ID10T ERROR. 20,000 pounds of truck and trailer down go too far in that damp of ground. Thanks to the neighbours and Massey Ferguson.

Plans are well underway for our Specialty Show to be held the August long weekend, which actually falls in August this year, in conjunction with the Alberta Kennel Club shows. Information for this event and other future events can be found on our Events page if I get to it before the show.

Hope we see you in the ring or on the field.
